Negros Occidental hospitals to start Covid-19 vaccination this week

Four provincial government-run hospitals in Negros Occidental are preparing to administer Covid-19 vaccines this week, receiving 1,600 doses of Sinovac's CoronaVac.

These vaccines will be distributed to Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital, Cadiz District Hospital, Valladolid District Hospital, and Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital.

The provincial health officer stated that the vaccines arrived on Wednesday and will be deployed within a week to the priority Capitol-run hospitals.

The province's Covid-19 vaccination program is scheduled to commence on Thursday at the provincial hospital.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson confirmed that all listed medical front-liners have agreed to be vaccinated, irrespective of the vaccine brand.
