NBI traces last two close contacts of UK COVID-19 variant case

One of the traced individuals is a 60-year-old American national residing in Silang, Cavite, along with his Filipino fiancée.

The NBI located this couple through the woman's cellphone number and subsequently turned them over to the Department of Health (DOH) Region 4A.

The other close contact was traced by the NBI to Cotabato City and was brought to a quarantine facility for a PCR test.

The DOH had previously directed the NBI to help find these last two close contacts.
