Napolcom affirms Nartatez as acting PNP chief

Nartatez took over as acting PNP chief on August 26, succeeding Torre, who had defied a Napolcom order regarding the reassignment of 13 third-level PNP officials, including Nartatez.
The Napolcom also confirmed the designation, assignment, and reassignment of 12 other senior PNP officials through Resolution No. 2025-0558.
