Malacañang wants deeper probe into missing sabungeros case

Malacañang has called for a deeper investigation into the reported disappearance of individuals linked to online and illegal cockfighting.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla suggested a link between the missing 'sabungeros' case and individuals involved in the previous administration's drug war.

Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro emphasized that the President wants the investigation to be expanded if crimes are proven to be interconnected, assuring no cover-up.

The police and Philippine Coast Guard found a sack containing suspected human remains at the bottom of Taal Lake, the alleged dumping area for the missing sabungeros.
