9 Marcos-backed bets lead Pulse Asia survey

Nine out of twelve senatorial candidates endorsed by President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. led a recent Pulse Asia survey commissioned by the administration.

The survey, conducted from September 6 to 13, involved 1,500 adult respondents nationwide.

Erwin Tulfo topped the survey with 60.8% of respondents indicating they would vote for him.

Former Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III ranked third with 48.0%.

Other administration-backed candidates who made the top 12 include Ben Tulfo, Pia Cayetano, Bong Go, Rodrigo Duterte, Abby Binay, Ramon Revilla, Panfilo Lacson, Manny Pacquiao, Imee Marcos, and Bato dela Rosa.

While Imee Marcos declined to be part of her brother's slate, the president stated she still had the alliance's support.

Rep. Camille Villar, Interior Secretary Benjamin Abalos Jr., and Sen. Francis Tolentino, who are part of the president's slate, did not make the top 12 but were still in the top 30.
