Manila opens 24/7 vax sites, no walk-in allowed
Manila will shift to a 24/7 COVID-19 vaccination schedule starting Sunday, August 8.
Mayor Isko Moreno announced that only individuals belonging to the A1, A2, A3, and A5 priority groups will receive their first dose.
Walk-ins will not be permitted at any vaccination sites.
Vaccinations in 15 school sites will run from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., while three specific sites will begin at 7 p.m. with 2,000 doses each.
The DOH has provided guidelines to ensure the safety and efficiency of vaccination programs during the ECQ.
Essential workers under the A4 priority group are not included in this vaccination drive due to the use of vaccines from the COVAX Facility.
