Makati opens 5 new vaccination sites

Makati City is opening five additional vaccination sites on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, to expedite the inoculation of its residents, particularly senior citizens.

The new vaccination centers are located in the covered courts of Bel-Air, Forbes Park, San Lorenzo, and Urdaneta villages, as well as at the Asia Pacific College in Magallanes.

Mayor Abigail "Abby" Binay stated that the city has finished installing necessary equipment and materials for these facilities.

With the arrival of a new batch of vaccines from the national government, these sites aim to speed up the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines to thousands of registered Makatizens.

The Makati Health Department has deployed three vaccination teams per village to administer Sinovac's Coronavac to senior residents of the five barangays.

Senior citizens who registered for vaccination have already received their confirmation number and designated schedule and venue.
