Lyceum Pirates edge CSB Blazers to reach NCAA Final Four

The Lyceum Pirates secured the final spot in the NCAA Season 100 Final Four by defeating the top-seeded CSB Blazers, 82-81.

John 'Ato' Barba led the Pirates with 27 points, including five triples, and contributed three steals.

John Bravo chipped in 12 points, eight rebounds and two steals, while Renz Villanueva, Mclaude Guadana and Jonathan Daileg delivered 11 points each.

Vincent Cunanan made a crucial defensive stop on Gab Cometa's jumper with 5.3 seconds remaining to preserve the Pirates' lead.

Lyceum finished the eliminations with a 10-8 record, marking their third consecutive Final Four appearance.

The Blazers, who saw Allen Liwag produce 20 points and 16 rebounds and Jhomel Ancheta fire 18 points, slipped to second with a 14-4 card.

If Mapua prevails over Arellano University, it will secure the No. 1 seeding and the twice-to-beat incentive when it faces LPU in the Final Four.
