LPA to bring rains to Bicol, Quezon; Vis-Min may see thunderstorms

A Low Pressure Area (LPA) is expected to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains to Camarines Provinces and Quezon.

The LPA was located 205 kilometers east northeast of Virac, Catanduanes as of 3 a.m. Friday.

Camarines and Quezon may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the northeast monsoon, with no significant impact expected.

Visayas and Mindanao can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with a possibility of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong northeasterly winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.

Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have slight to moderate northeasterly to easterly winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will see slight to moderate northwesterly winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
