2 Chinese nationals arrested in Boracay for businessman's kidnap-slay

Two Chinese nationals, Wenli Gong (alias Kelly Tan Lim) and Wu Jiabing, have been arrested in Boracay in connection with the kidnapping and killing of Filipino-Chinese businessman Anson Que.

Gong is identified as a primary suspect and alleged co-mastermind, believed to have lured Que to the kidnap site and used his cell phone for ransom negotiations.

Wu Jiabing, Gong's alleged accomplice, was also arrested and is believed to have aided her disguise.

The suspects were apprehended by the PNP-CIDG inside a luxury resort in Station 2, Boracay Island.

Police have arrested two more suspects, bringing the total apprehended to four out of five individuals believed to be involved, with Jonin Lin still at large.

The autopsy report revealed that both Que and his driver, Armanie Pabillo, died of strangulation, despite a P200 million ransom payment.

A P10 million reward has been offered for information leading to Lin's capture.
