House vows to guard P6.352T budget vs hypocrisy, misuse

House Speaker Martin Romualdez delivered a strong message against hypocrisy and misuse of public funds as the House of Representatives began plenary debates on the P6.352-trillion national budget for 2025.

Romualdez stated that the House will not tolerate hypocrisy and will demand full transparency and accountability from everyone involved in the budget process.

He emphasized that public funds are for the benefit of the Filipino people and not for personal gain, vowing to guard every peso with utmost care.

The Speaker assured the public that the House will remain firm in defending good governance and fiscal responsibility, protecting taxpayers' money from abuse and corruption.

The proposed P6.352-trillion national budget for 2025, the largest in the country's history, is designated as House Bill No. 10800 and is now open for plenary sponsorship and debates.

Romualdez commended his colleagues for their diligence in defending public coffers and ensuring that public funds are responsibly allocated and protected.
