Globe restores mobile services in Antique, Biliran, Guimaras, Samar, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Siargao Island, Dinagat Islands, Surigao City, and Mactan Airport Cebu

Globe Telecom has announced the restoration of mobile services in Antique, Biliran, Guimaras, Samar, Eastern Samar, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Del Carmen, Siargao Island, San Jose in Dinagat Islands, Lipata Seaport, Surigao City, Surigao Airport, and Mactan Airport Cebu.

Customers in these locations can now make and receive calls and text messages.

Restoration efforts in typhoon-affected areas in Mindanao are progressively nearing completion, with data services now operational in Ormoc City and the whole of Eastern Samar.

In the Visayas, certain areas remain challenged due to damaged roads, bridges, and power lines, but Globe's network engineers are working to bring services back to normal.

Globe field teams are on the ground in Siargao, putting up needed equipment to restore mobile services.

Restoration work in Palawan is nearing completion, though collapsed bridges have previously delayed efforts in some parts.

The company is providing free calls and charging stations in select locations across Palawan and Cebu.

Globe has established free and unlimited internet access in select malls, government offices, and airports across the Visayas and Mindanao.
