In Cagayan Valley, 13,270 low-income households in Alicia, Isabela received an initial P5,500 subsidy, with funding provided to 59 out of 93 LGUs.
The SAP has also been implemented in Tabaco City, Albay in the Bicol Region, though the number of beneficiaries has not yet been disclosed.
The DSWD is coordinating with LGUs nationwide for the distribution schedule, with assistance from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) for security.
