Over 147,000 4Ps beneficiaries in Cebu receive 2nd tranche of SAP subsidy
The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Davao Region (DSWD-11) has started distributing the second tranche of the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) subsidies to 31,702 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries.
These beneficiaries are set to receive PHP4,650, which includes their monthly cash grants for health and nutrition (PHP750) and rice subsidy (PHP600) for April and May, amounting to a total of PHP6,000.
In Cebu, approximately 147,406 4Ps beneficiaries have received P4,650 each as an emergency cash subsidy under SAP since June 11, with a total of P685,437,900 disbursed.
For beneficiaries without cash cards, their subsidies will be provided through direct payout schemes by the DSWD, and they are advised to await information from their City or Municipal Links.
To prevent duplication of financial assistance, 4Ps household beneficiaries who have received the SAP emergency cash subsidy will not be qualified to receive aid from other national government agencies like DOLE, DA, or SSS.
The SAP's second tranche will be disbursed through direct payment or money transfer methods.
