The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 2 has launched its "Lakbay Alalay" Motorist Assistance Program from April 16 to 19, 2025, to ensure road safety and assist travelers during Holy Week.

Personnel from DPWH Region 2's Regional and District Engineering Offices are deployed in composite teams at key locations along national highways in Cagayan Valley.

These teams include designated anchormen who serve as on-site coordinators and first responders.

DPWH Region 2 is coordinating with the Land Transportation Office (LTO), Philippine National Police (PNP), and local government units for seamless operations and 24/7 visibility.
