INQToday: Ex-DPWH Bulacan engineer Henry Alcantara dismissed from service
Former Bulacan First District engineer Henry Alcantara has been dismissed from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon announced that Alcantara's dismissal is effective immediately.
Proceedings for the dismissal of Brice Fernandez and Jaypee Mendoza are also underway.
Secretary Dizon also intends to have the DPWH legal team recommend the filing of charges against the three individuals to the Office of the Ombudsman.
Additionally, Dizon will order the lifetime blacklisting of contractors Wawao Builders and Syms Construction Trading for "ghost" flood control projects.
One such project, in Brgy. Sipat, Plaridel, Bulacan, by Wawao Builders is worth P96 million.
