Sarah Discaya, 9 others for P96.5M ghost flood control project

The Ombudsman has filed the charges before the Digos Regional Trial Court.
Those charged, besides Discaya and Rimando, include DPWH Davao Occidental District Engineering Office officers Rodrigo Larete, Michael Awa, Joel Lumogdang, Harold John Villaver, Jafael Faunillian, Josephine Valdez, Ranulfo Flores, and Czar Ryan Ubungen.
These charges are the second set filed against those involved in the project since President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. raised the controversy in his State of the Nation Address in July.
President Marcos Jr. has ordered the Department of the Interior and Local Government to ensure the whereabouts of the accused are known for immediate arrest once warrants are issued.
