The Department of Transportation (DOTr) is partnering with fuel companies to provide free rides for health workers during the enhanced community quarantine.

Seaoil Philippines will provide up to 50 liters of free fuel daily for 15 buses from April 13 to April 30.

Phoenix Petroleum has agreed to provide 50 liters of fuel daily to 60 private bus units.

Petron Corporation, with facilitation from SMC Infrastructure, will provide 50 liters of fuel each to 60 bus units daily.

CleanFuel will donate 40 liters of fuel daily to 20 bus units until April 30.

Total Philippines is providing free fuel worth PhP1,000 per bus unit or PhP300 per medical frontliner's vehicle until April 17.

DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing its importance in sustaining public service for medical frontliners amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of April 9, 2020, the program has transported a total of 123,575 medical workers.
