Returning OFWs' vaccination cards must undergo POLO validation--Bello
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will validate the vaccination cards of fully inoculated returning overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) inoculated outside the Philippines.
OFWs must present their official vaccination documentation or International Certificate of Vaccination validated by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in their host country.
The vaccines administered must be part of those with emergency use authorization from the Philippine Food and Drug Administration or the World Health Organization.
In addition to vaccination proof, returning OFWs need to submit their valid passport or travel document and verified employment contract to POLO offices.
Application for validation can be done online through the ONEHEALTHPASS PORTAL.
DOLE defines 'fully vaccinated' as individuals who are at least two weeks past their second dose of a two-dose vaccine or two weeks past a single-dose vaccine.
