DOH reports 140 new COVID-19 recoveries, 2,245 new infections

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 140 new COVID-19 recoveries, bringing the total to 475,542, which is 91.7% of all confirmed cases.

The country's total number of confirmed cases reached 516,166 with 2,245 new infections reported.

Active cases nationwide are at 32,384, with 95 new deaths reported, increasing the total death toll to 10,481.

Of the active cases, 84.5% are mild, 9.2% asymptomatic, 3.4% critical, and 2.4% severe.

Baguio City and Cebu City recorded the highest number of new cases with 121 infections each, followed by Davao City with 102.

ICU beds are 60% available, isolation beds are 65% available, ward beds have 8,400 availability, and 79% of ventilators are available.
