DOH logs 27 new Covid-19 recoveries, 58 deaths

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 27 new Covid-19 recoveries on Monday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 487,574.

These recoveries represent 92.5% of all recorded cases.

The viral disease also claimed 58 more lives, bringing the tally of Covid-19 related deaths to 10,807.

Meanwhile, 1,658 new infections brought the number of active cases to 28,891.

Of the active cases, 88.5% have mild symptoms, 5.3% are asymptomatic, 3.0% are critical, 2.7% are severe, and 0.56% are moderate.

The DOH assured that there are enough hospital beds to cater to possible Covid-19 patients, with 59% of ICU beds, 66% of isolation beds, and 75% of ward beds available.
