10 of 29 cops wanted for P6.7-B drug haul raps in CIDG custody
Arrest warrants have been issued for 29 active and former police officers in connection with the P6.7 billion drug haul mishandled in Manila in October 2022.

Ranking police officials were reportedly seen in video footage of the operation, with some allegedly taking 42 kg. of shabu before the inventory of the confiscated 990 kg. of illegal drugs, though the stolen shabu was later recovered.
Included in the charges are Lt. Gen. Benjamin Santos Jr., former deputy chief for operations, and Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo, former Drug Enforcement Unit director.
