Choco Mucho sweeps Chery Tiggo, nears PVL finals

Royse Tubino scored 17 points, supporting Sisi Rondina who also had a strong performance, contributing to the team's semifinal win.

This victory marks Choco Mucho's second win in the semifinal round-robin phase, following their earlier win against Creamline.

Tubino stepped up in the absence of Kat Tolentino, expressing her happiness and gratitude for the support from her coaches and teammates as she nears her first PVL finals appearance.

Chery Tiggo remains winless in two games in the semifinals, with Cza Carandang scoring 10 points and sisters Eya and EJ Laure adding nine points each.

Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin expressed excitement about returning to the PVL finals but stressed the need for his team to secure a third win.

A win against Petro Gazz would guarantee Choco Mucho a spot in the championship series, while a loss could lead to a three-way tie depending on the Creamline vs. Chery Tiggo outcome.
