Choco Mucho, Creamline clash again in PVL All-Filipino Finals

Choco Mucho and Creamline are set to face each other in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference Finals, a rematch of their previous championship clash.

The Finals will be a best-of-three series, with Game 1 scheduled for May 9 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, followed by Game 2 on May 12 and a potential Game 3 on May 14.

Organizers anticipate a large crowd, potentially breaking records, following the significant attendance during their last finals encounter in December.

Creamline, the reigning champions and seven-time titlists, aims to sustain their dynasty, while Choco Mucho seeks their first-ever PVL crown.

Choco Mucho advanced to the finals after defeating Petro Gazz, while Creamline won two of their three semifinal games.

The dynastic franchise will come in as the underdogs after dropping their last duel with Choco Mucho in a five-set defeat.

Coach Sherwin Meneses stressed that Creamline is focused on winning the championship, despite Choco Mucho's hunger for their first title.

Choco Mucho's path to the finals included a semifinal victory where Sisi Rondina scored 32 points, and coach Dante Alinsunurin highlighted the team's 'hunger' for a championship.
