Choco Mucho clinches first win vs Creamline in PVL semis

Choco Mucho Flying Titans secured their first-ever victory against sister team Creamline Cool Smashers in a comeback fashion during the Premier Volleyball League semifinals, ending a 12-game losing streak against their rivals.

The Flying Titans achieved this breakthrough after 13 attempts, winning the match with set scores of 13-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-20, and 18-16 at the PhilSports Arena in front of 6,407 fans.

Sisi Rondina led the offensive charge for Choco Mucho with 23 points from 21 attacks, a block, and an ace, while also posting 14 excellent receptions.

Royse Tubino contributed significantly with 20 points, 18 coming from attacks, and had 12 excellent digs.

Isa Molde was also instrumental for the Flying Titans as she contributed 12 points.

Maddie Madayag added eight points, seven of which came from Choco Mucho's 15 blocks.

The win boosts Choco Mucho's bid for a return trip to the finals, offering them an opportunity for redemption after falling short in the previous AFC championship.

The team persevered despite the continued absence of key players Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, and Aduke Ogunsanya.
