Central Luzon Covid-19 recoveries climb to 19,826

Recoveries from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon have reached 19,826, with 716 new recoveries reported as of Thursday.

This is out of the total of 22,939 confirmed Covid-19 cases in the region, based on the latest bulletin released by the Department of Health Central Luzon Center for Health Development (DOH-CLCHD).

The DOH-CLHD also reported that there are currently 2,314 active cases or 10.1 percent of the total number of patients.

Out of the total active cases, 1,440 are mild, 807 are asymptomatic, 57 are severe, and 10 are in critical condition.

The death toll in the region has increased to 799, with nine new fatalities.

Out of the 160 new cases, 55 were from Bulacan, 44 from Pampanga, 26 from Tarlac, 13 from Angeles City, 10 from Nueva Ecija, eight from Bataan, three from Olongapo City, one from Zambales City, and zero from Aurora.

DOH-Region 3 (Central Luzon) director Cesar Cassion urged the public to continue observing health standards due to the ongoing threat of COVID-19.
