Cebu Pacific, PAL transport over 166,000 vaccine doses

From April 6 to 9, Cebu Pacific transported approximately 77,800 vaccine doses to six cities: Bacolod, Zamboanga, Tacloban, Cotabato, Puerto Princesa, and Tuguegarao.

This included specific shipments of 7,200 doses to Bacolod, 14,400 doses each to Tacloban and Zamboanga, 34,800 doses to Cotabato, 1,000 doses to Puerto Princesa, and 6,000 doses to Tuguegarao.

Cebu Pacific has flown around 53,000 doses to Zamboanga and Tuguegarao in March.

To date, Cebu Pacific has transported approximately 130,000 vaccine doses nationwide since March 2021.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) transported 88,800 doses of Sinovac vaccines to Cebu, Davao, Butuan, and Cagayan de Oro on April 7, 2021.

Since March 1, PAL has delivered close to 500,000 vaccine doses from Manila to numerous locations across the country.

PAL had also previously transported one million Sinovac vaccine doses from Beijing to Manila.

Both airlines are committed to supporting the government's vaccine distribution efforts, utilizing specialized aircraft and refrigerated storage for optimal preservation.
