Cainta launches mass COVID-19 testing with mobile booths

The municipal government of Cainta, Rizal has initiated a mass testing program for COVID-19, including the rollout of 10 mobile testing booths, to help contain the virus's spread.

Medical teams initially focused on Greenwoods Subdivision in Barangay San Andres, the area with the highest concentration of confirmed cases in Cainta.

Mayor Kit Nieto stated that Cainta possesses 5,000 test kits, with an additional 5,000 available if needed.

The testing initiative will cover individuals residing in households as well as those in quarantine facilities within Cainta.

Those who test positive will have to undergo immediate isolation.

As of Monday, Cainta has recorded 65 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with nine deaths and eight recoveries.
