CAAP on heightened alert for Undas 2025 with 5.8M passengers expected

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has placed all airports nationwide on heightened alert in preparation for the Undas 2025 season.

CAAP anticipates a significant surge in travelers, projecting 5.8 million passengers from October to November, a 7-10 percent increase from the 4.8 million recorded in 2024.

This initiative supports the directives of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Acting Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez under the Department of Transportation's (DOTr) Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Undas 2025.

To manage the influx, CAAP has established Malasakit Help Desks in all airports, enhanced security measures, and placed medical teams on standby.

CAAP Director General Raul del Rosario has instructed all area managers to rigorously implement safety and security protocols to guarantee smooth operations and passenger convenience.

Passengers are encouraged by CAAP to adhere to airport safety guidelines to prevent delays and disruptions.
