The Chinese national, identified as Dong Chengzhi, 27, was apprehended in Doljo, Panglao, Bohol by BI operatives in coordination with the Panglao Municipal Police.

Simultaneously, the Japanese national, Takeshi Nishiyama, 48, was arrested in Kasambagan, Cebu with the assistance of the Mabolo Police Station.

Both apprehended individuals are currently in BI custody as their deportation cases are being processed.

Commissioner Viado emphasized that violators will face legal consequences and that the BI will not tolerate any disrespect for immigration laws.
