Two Chinese fugitives nabbed at NAIA attempting to flee

Immigration authorities at NAIA Terminal 3 apprehended two Chinese fugitives attempting to leave for Malaysia on February 15 and 16.

Both fugitives were found to be on the BI's watchlist for being undesirable aliens due to criminal cases filed against them in China.

One of the arrested individuals, 37-year-old Huang Xianjun, wanted for telecommunication fraud and subject to an Interpol red notice, was apprehended on February 15.

The second fugitive, 23-year-old Li Xiao Long, intercepted on February 16, had an active warrant for economic crimes and his working visa was previously revoked.

He was also revealed to have previously been employed at a POGO company in Manila.

The two Chinese nationals are currently held at the BI custodial facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City pending deportation proceedings.
