BI expects Indonesian authorities to apprehend Wesley Guo soon

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) expects Indonesian authorities to soon apprehend Wesley Guo, the supposed brother of dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo.

BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval stated that Wesley has no travel records outside of Indonesia and is presumed to remain within the country.

Indonesian authorities have been very helpful and are coordinating well with the BI following the arrest of Alice Guo in Tangerang City, Jakarta.

Alice Guo was apprehended in Banten, Jakarta, as an undocumented alien and has since been brought back to the Philippines.

The BI had previously notified Indonesian authorities about an arrest order against Alice Guo and her dual Filipino and Chinese citizenship.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla still suspects that some BI personnel were involved in the departure of Alice Guo and her siblings in July.

Shiela Guo, Alice and Wesley's supposed sister, and her companion Cassandra Li Ong were intercepted in Indonesia last month.
