Baguio requires negative RT-PCR test for entry amid rising COVID-19 cases

Baguio City now requires a negative RT-PCR test for all individuals entering the city, effective March 19, due to rising COVID-19 cases.

Tourists must present a negative RT-PCR test result conducted within 72 hours prior to entry, or undergo testing at the Central Triage for P500.

Baguio residents and workers traveling daily or weekly for work can present a negative antigen or RT-PCR test result done within 30 days prior to entry, or undergo testing at the Central Triage for P350.

Baguio residents who are not APORs and are returning from personal travels outside the city are also required to have negative test results within 30 days prior to entry.

Exemptions include government APORs on official travel, those passing through, drop and go (drivers only), emergency and non-emergency medical cases, cargo, utilities, and those on humanitarian causes.

Testing can be done at checkpoints (Triage 1) or the Central Triage Unit at the Baguio Convention Center (Triage 2).
