Baguio allows outdoor exercise under GCQ

Baguio City has allowed residents to engage in running, walking, and Zumba at parks and open areas as the city transitions to a general community quarantine (GCQ).

Mayor Benjamin Magalong announced that individuals can exercise from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. on scheduled days at Burnham Park and the Baguio Athletic Bowl.

Residents will need a separate quarantine pass to avail of these exercise opportunities.

Zumba activities at Burnham Park are restricted to 15 participants at a time to ensure physical distancing.

Those jogging on barangay roads will require a sports pass and can exercise daily.

Only residents aged 21 to 59 are permitted to go out for exercise, with Sundays designated as a lockdown day that opens for senior citizens.
