Taguig allows jogging during MECQ with restrictions

Taguig City has issued guidelines for Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ), allowing joggers specific hours for outdoor exercise.

Only residents aged 21 to 59 are permitted to jog between 5 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Each household can send only one person out at a time, and they must carry a quarantine pass and wear a face mask.

Individuals must maintain a five-meter distance from others and remain within their own barangay while exercising.

Those under 21, 60 and above, pregnant women, and individuals with health risks are prohibited from going out for exercise.

Facilities such as pools, gyms, fitness studios, and sports facilities will remain closed under the MECQ.

Taguig City, along with other areas in Metro Manila and some provinces, is under MECQ from May 16 to May 31 to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
