Bacolod City confirms 2 local Delta variant cases

The second Delta variant case is a 32-year-old pregnant woman from Barangay Sum-ag, who was asymptomatic and had no travel history.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia has ordered the lockdown of the two residential areas in Barangays Sum-ag and Banago where the cases were confirmed.

The mayor stated that the localized containment measures were ordered immediately upon confirmation from health authorities.
