Amihan to bring rains to parts of Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon, locally known as Amihan, is expected to bring cloudy skies and light rains to several parts of Luzon over the next 24 hours.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon will primarily experience these conditions due to the Amihan.

Meanwhile, the Visayas, Caraga, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies, which could trigger flash floods or landslides.

The rest of Mindanao will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, with severe thunderstorms potentially leading to flash floods or landslides.

Rough to very rough seas are expected in Northern Luzon due to strong to gale-force winds, while moderate to rough conditions will prevail in the Visayas, the rest of Luzon, and the northern and eastern parts of Mindanao.
