Northeast monsoon, easterlies bring rains across PH

The northeast monsoon and easterlies will bring cloudy skies and isolated rains across the Philippines on Tuesday.

The Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi can expect scattered rains and thunderstorms, with a risk of flash floods or landslides from moderate to heavy rainfall.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will also experience cloudy skies and rain due to the amihan, with similar risks of flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains from the amihan, which are not expected to have a significant impact.

The rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, and severe thunderstorms could cause flash floods or landslides.

Northern Luzon is forecasted to have strong to gale-force winds and rough to very rough seas.

Central Luzon and the eastern part of Southern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas.
