Alleged abuse victim hopeful after Quiboloy arrest

A woman, identified as 'Amanda', expressed relief and hope following the arrest of Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, whom she accused of abuse.

Amanda, who was 16 when she joined KOJC in 2013 and claims she was abused as a minor, escaped the organization in 2016 and filed cases against Quiboloy in 2019.

She had filed cases against Quiboloy including charges for trafficking, child abuse, sexual abuse, and forced labor.

Amanda urges other alleged victims of Quiboloy to come forward and share their experiences, stating, "Andito na po tayo eh, nahuli na po. Maglakas na lang tayo ng loob, sasabiihin na lang natin yung totoo para makamit natin yung hustisya."

Her lawyers expressed optimism that the cases will now progress following Quiboloy's apprehension.
