Quiboloy faces arraignment, followers urged to stay strong

Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy urged his followers to remain strong as he faced arraignment for a human trafficking case.

Quiboloy, who calls himself the "Appointed Son of God", is accused of trafficking female KOJC members, some as young as 12 years old, to sell goods and raise funds for the church.

Some female members have accused Quiboloy of molestation, saying the pastor said it was their way of getting into heaven.

Davao police reported on Thursday that 5 more female KOJC members have come forward to accuse Quiboloy of sexual molestation, including two Ukrainian nationals.

Quiboloy is also facing similar sex trafficking charges in the United States.

The pastor is currently detained at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame following his surrender last Sunday.

His legal team will ask the court to allow Quiboloy to be placed under house arrest.
