Agno lifts EECQ status earlier than scheduled

The municipality of Agno in Pangasinan has lifted its extreme enhanced community quarantine (EECQ) status earlier than scheduled on June 9, after completing contact tracing and other health protocols.

Mayor Gualberto Sison stated that the immediate response of front-liners facilitated the completion of procedures, although Barangay Poblacion East, where three positive front-liners reside, remains under partial lockdown.

Some restrictions will continue to be enforced to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including the closure of the public market until June 12 for decontamination.

Movement of vehicles into and out of the municipality is prohibited, except for essential travel, and a strict no-movement policy is in effect outside residences, with exceptions for Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs) and those with quarantine passes accessing basic needs or medical emergencies.

Delivery services from outside the municipality not originating from Agno residents are indefinitely prohibited, and barangays will maintain checkpoints in coordination with the local police.
