3 weather systems to bring rains across PH

Three weather systems are expected to bring rains across the Philippines on Monday, February 10, 2025, according to PAGASA.

A shear line will cause scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms in the Visayas, Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Quezon, and Aurora.

Easterlies will bring similar weather conditions to Caraga and cause rains in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and Calabarzon.

PAGASA warned that moderate to heavy rains in these areas could lead to flash floods or landslides, with severe thunderstorms also posing a risk.

The northeast monsoon will bring isolated light rains to the rest of Luzon, while easterlies will bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, likely in the afternoon or evening, to the rest of Mindanao.

Strong to gale winds and rough to very rough seas are predicted for Northern and Central Luzon, and the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal waters.
