Lost while hiking, 2 missing Hong Kong-based OFWs found
The Philippine consulate general in Hong Kong confirmed that two missing overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), Imee Mahilum Pabuaya, 24, and Aleli Perez Tibay, 33, have been found safe.
They were reported missing after not returning to their employers' residences following a hiking trip on the Lung Mun Country Trail on October 4.
The two women were located on Thursday night and brought to a Hong Kong police station.
They are now under the custody of the Migrant Workers Office in Hong Kong, where they underwent a welfare check.
