The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) is actively reviewing old real estate rules to impose stricter fines on non-compliant developers, aligning with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s vision for proactive governance. DHSUD also aims to protect homebuyers by resolving their issues efficiently through initiatives like the Zero Backlog Program and DREAM Tips campaign. The department continues to enhance programs such as the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP) to address housing needs of informal settler families across the Philippines.
