ZUS Coffee advances to PVL on Tour quarterfinals

ZUS Coffee secured a quarterfinal berth in the Premier Volleyball League on Tour with a 19-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-19, 15-6 victory over Chery Tiggo at the Candon City Arena in Ilocos Sur.

Cloanne Mondonedo, ZUS Coffee's setter and NCAA award winner last year, played a crucial role with 36 excellent sets and two hits, helping her team finish Pool B with a 3-2 record.

Mondonedo acknowledged that there is still room for improvement despite the victory, emphasizing the team's determination to avoid disappointment after traveling long distances.

The result prevented Chery Tiggo from securing an outright quarterfinal entry, leaving four teams to contest the final quarterfinal spot starting Saturday at the Dasmarinas Arena in Cavite.

On Saturday, Chery Tiggo will face Galeries Tower and Farm Fresh will play against Capital1 in the ongoing tournament.
