Zav Lucero scores 24 points, earns Player of the Week

Zav Lucero played a crucial role in Magnolia's victory against TNT, securing a Top Four seeding in the PBA Philippine Cup playoffs.

Lucero scored 24 points on 64% shooting and contributed eight rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and one steal in the 88-83 win that halted Magnolia's two-game slide.

His strong performance in the high-pressure game earned him the PBA Press Corps-Pilipinas Live Player of the Week for June 11 to 15.

This was Lucero's third weekly citation in Season 49, matching Calvin Oftana's hat-trick of accolades.

Lucero outperformed other notable players such as Stephen Holt and Cjay Perez from their respective teams who also had strong performances that week.
