Zamboanga City's active Covid-19 cases rise to 78

Zamboanga City's active coronavirus cases increased to 78 on Thursday with seven new infections, bringing the total tally since March to 260.

Of the new cases, two were from the community, one was a locally stranded individual (LSI), and four were former persons deprived of liberty (PDL) who are in an isolation facility before integration into the community.

The LSI is a 30-year-old woman from Manila, while other patients include a 58-year-old woman with chronic kidney disease and a 27-year-old woman from Barangay Zambowood.

As of Thursday, there have been 174 recoveries and eight deaths among the total cases.
