VP Sara urges humility, kindness during Black Nazarene feast

Vice President Sara Duterte called on Catholic faithful to show humility, kindness, and mercy during the 2025 Feast of Jesus Nazareno.

Duterte emphasized that devotion to the Black Nazarene is a testament to people's trust in God’s miracles and their resilience in facing challenges.

The Vice President urged Filipinos to pray for those in need, sick, or dying, and to show kindness even to those who persecute them.

She also appealed to the public to continue praying for healing, wisdom, and guidance as they renew their faith.

At 04:41 a.m. on Thursday, the procession officially started from Quirino Grandstand to Quiapo Church.

Duterte concluded by saying that everything Filipinos do is for God, the people, and every Filipino family.
