VP Sara: Marcos violating constitution, failing campaign promises

Vice President Sara Duterte expressed no ill will towards President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr., despite political persecution from his administration.

During a rally in Melbourne, Australia on June 22, Duterte criticized Marcos's performance and alleged constitutional violations, particularly the rendition of former President Rodrigo Duterte to The Hague, which she considers an affront to Philippine sovereignty.

She also accused Marcos of failing to follow through with campaign promises and called him a 'scammer', expressing doubt over his commitment to not intervening in her impeachment trial.

Duterte reiterated that she has no plans to attend the upcoming State of the Nation Address (SONA) due to lack of substantial content.

The vice president stated her intention to spend time with the Filipino community discussing ways to improve the country instead.
