Sara Duterte calls for prayers amid challenges

Vice President Sara Duterte called on Filipinos to pray for peace and stability during All Saints' Day amid challenges from evil, injustice, and personal interests.

She reminded the public to pray for the souls of the departed and to entrust their fears to the saints in hopes of alleviating life's burdens.

Duterte emphasized that they should collectively pray for the country's peace and resilience as it faces several challenges posed by individuals' pursuit of wealth and power.

The Vice President made these statements following a press conference where she criticized her running mate, now President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., over recent investigations into confidential funds and extrajudicial killings during her father's administration.

Marcos has not yet directly responded to Duterte's criticisms.
